(ISS), the leading global provider of governance and responsible investment solutions for institutional investors worldwide and parent company of ICS, has expanded its global Environmental & Social (E&S) QualityScore ratings to include 30 of the largest companies in Taiwan. This is an impact development for the Corporate Issuer community as institutional investors demand greater insight on the environmental and social disclosures and practices of Taiwan companies.
With global benchmarking across all 24 four-digit GICS industry groups, E&S QualityScore represents a data-driven approach to measuring the quality of corporate disclosures on environmental and social issues, including sustainability governance, and to identify key disclosure omissions. Acquired by ISS in March 2018, the ISS oekom Responsibility Benchmarking & Information Tool ORBIT, provides quick access to information, ratings and analyses. The ORBIT Companies online database enables direct access to the detailed information contained in the oekom Corporate Ratings of over 4,200 companies. These companies are analyzed and evaluated against up to 100 environmental, social and governance-related criteria. ORBIT Companies enables direct comparison of the corporate responsibility performance of companies at all levels of the rating and companies can also be arranged into benchmark groups to suit individual requirements.
